Routine Core Analysis

Routine core analysis determines basic petrophysical properties of cores or outcrop samples recovered from geologic formations at depth or at surface exposure. Following measurements are undertaken as Routine core Analysis:

  • Core Slabbing/Plugging Services
  • Core Preservation and Storage
  • Porosity: Defining Reservoir Storage Capacity
  • Grain Density: Calibration of Density Logs
  • Horizontal Permeability: Defining Flow Capacity, Permeability Distribution and Profile
  • Vertical Permeability: Evaluates Gravity Drainage Potential, Coning Probability, and Seal Effectiveness
  • Residual Saturation: Measuring Presence and Types of Hydrocarbons Present
